Beegee Rock Adaptation

Score: 2

Basically, this is a standard adaptation of the classic "Rock" archetype made famous by Sol Malka during "Apocalypse.". Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Also, because I can only support one deck, I want to have it survive post-rotation, having only cards from the Scars block and M12, save for fetchlands, for which I hope Innistrad has an adequate replacement.

Thrun seems way, way, way better than Skinshifter. Also, Surgical Extraction isn't much use if you don't have any removal (there's literally no removal here), and 4 Mimic Vat - 2 Sundial, while nice somewhere, is very out of place what is essentially a control deck. You shouldn't need that kind of creature advantage to win games.

Instead of the Skinshifters, should I deck 2 Glissa, the Traitor and a Thrun, the Last Troll or should I just rely on four copies of Thrun? Also, the metagame in my area has a lot of Boros, Birthing Pod and Tempered Steel decks. Is there anything in particular you would recommend running against those decks?

I generally maindeck 3 thrun and leave the fourth in the board. Glissa is much worse than a straight removal spell.

For those matchups, Disfigure , Inquisition of Kozilek , and card:Nature's Claim. Plus a hefty helping of Doom Blade and Go for the Throat in the main.
