Elemental Tribal!

Who doesn't like five colour big stuff. Now with added tribal support and synergies! Play big beaters, get grindy value engines online and keep replaying threat after threat until you can write that big "W" into your book.

Risen Reef is an absolute powerhouse and ramps you out of control when your opponents least suspect it. Primary win cons are out-valueing your opponents with combos like Risen Reef, Yarok, the Desecrated and Omnath, Locus of Rage, or swinging hard with Maelstrom Wanderer. Having Animar, Soul of Elements and Morophon, the Boundless out on the field simultaneously makes almost every single elemental free to cast, resulting in extremely explosive turns that will turn the game in your favour!

Secondary wincon consists of Avenger of Zendikar and Phyrexian Altar . When you have 4 lands in play, this means being able to sacrifice Avenger and the four tokens an infinite amount of times (Also works with Yarok, the Desecrated and Scampering Scorcher). Combine this with a Risen Reef or Omnath, Locus of Rage to basically draw your entire deck or bolt the enemy out of their chair. This combination generates infinite mana when there are five or more lands in play on your side, allowing you to play your entire deck essentially.

With the addition of Ikoria to the pool of cards, another combo was added to the deck. By utilizing Horde of Notion's ability, we can cast Jegantha, the Wellspring from the graveyard. With a haste enabler like Maelstrom Wanderer on the field and one of the sacrifice outlets (Greater Good or Phyrexian Altar), we can tap Jegantha, the Wellspring for WUBRG, sacrifice it, and replay it to either draw into a direct wincon or generate infinite mana to cast Maelstrom Wanderer over and over.

Do be wary of removal. Creatures are very fragile, and with only two sacrifice outlets in the deck, you are easily halted in your wincon, leaving you susceptible to hard crackbacks!

I have decided to cut some "dead weight" cards, cards that did nothing or never hit the field in any occasion, for some early artifact ramp to compensate for the top-heavy curve of the deck.

-Brightheart Banneret -Parcelbeast -Tornado Elemental

+Selesnya Signet +Golgari Signet +Gruul Signet

I will slot in a Simic Signet too, once I get my hands on it!

I have put a few cards in the maybeboard that might be worth running. Lately during playtesting I've found Tornado Elemental to be very dead in most situations, so it will probably not make the next cut. Thryx, the Sudden Storm protects the top heavy curve of this deck and looks supercool so I might give him a shot or two. Furthermore, Wilderness Reclamation may be a cool addition to make sure I have mana open for some instant speed elementals, although the card is dead on hand if my commander isn't out on the field.

Lastly, I have been toying around with Kindred Summons and I am really liking what the card does. The main reason why I am not slamming it tnto the 99 is because the CMC of 7 compared to the CMC of 6 of See the Unwritten . 7 is still rather steep.

I will keep you updated!
