@mortilus Speed doesn't matter at all so Tidings is definitely better, I just don't have one. Going on my acquire :) Thanks!

Personally I feel like you have few responses to an opponent's own cards besides copying them. I highly suggest more bounce like disperse. Second cards like Corrupted Conscience, Mind Control, and Control Magic are cheap options to steal opponents things. Beguile of Wills is nice, but thanks to Braids cheating out the big threats of your opponents and that your CMC is too high to actually swarm quickly you'll rarely be able to take anything useful. I understand the budget, so I won't post my Braids deck since it is expensive but you can click on my profile if you ever have some extra spending and want some good ideas. The guide does a good job describing my most powerful cards in it.

@dagan94 First off, love your deck...wish I could afford some of those Eldrazi you've got...maybe some day :)

Originally, I left off steal effects like Blatant Thievery and Bribery for three reasons: 1) they were too expensive (I wasn't aware of the cheap cards you mentioned, 2) I have Beguiler of Wills and Roil Elemental to steal multiple creatures though I realize only temporarily and 3) the guys I play with are pretty light on the creatures in their decks and if they have them, they wait to buff for lethal. For the price tag of the cards you mentioned though, I'll definitely pick them up just to steal commanders.

What would you suggest getting rid of in the deck? I'm thinking Equilibrium (it doesn't proc when Braids brings in a creature), Deep-Sea Kraken (it's big benefit is its suspend which is unnecessary with Braids) and unsure of a third. I also have Infinite Reflection and wouldn't mind cutting a fourth card to put it in.

Equilibrium is a definite drop cause you,re right, it doesn't proc from Braids. I'd drop Kraken of the Straits is a better drop since Deep-Sea Kraken has political power and makes players unwilling to set up their board state as much, not to mention is basically a better version of the latter without suspend. Finally is Breaching Leviathan. He's not cast so his utility isn't as helpful, and most of your other big guys provide great utility or are actually hard to block. I'd prefer a steal since you can get something as big as it and it might have utility ( Hand of Emrakul makes a good replacement as well, a little smaller but has annihilator). I'm glad you liked the cheap options, my Braids started off cheap as well and has grown through trades and buys, just be patient and build what you like. Speaking of which I can't help but notice you have a lot of cards from the new commander set. If you have it I'd throw in Ixidron and maybe some more morph from Khans of Tarkir for some pretty good shenanigans. Will net you multiple morph activations and will completely beat out all their big creatures and even flip commanders into useless cards.

@dagan94 Good call on Breaching Leviathan, I didn't catch that in his text. I'll definitely pick up Hand of Emrakul too.

You are correct, I do have the new commander deck and therefore have Ixidron. My concern with it though is that, since I play with guys who have creature light decks, most of Ixidron's ETB creature "damage" (for lack of a better term) would be on my creature heavy side of the board. This would include my commander, which if I'm mana starved in the game, would mean a full hand of creatures I can't get out.
