Alright bro first things first enchantments are great because they apply To more than one creature a lot of times but the downside especially with your deck is that they are pricey and when i say they are pricey im talking abt your mana cost. because none of them really do that much for your deck and at the same time you are relying on some enchanments to get other enchantments to work which can be good but you dont have enough of those cards to make that work in a 60 card deck. the first thing i would do is add more counter spells and add more damaging spells such as Tragic Slip and Doom Blade those would be two great dmage spells for you especially by using them as a combo.
if you want an example or something to maybe give you some good ideas on building your deck your welcome to take a look at my zombie deck. i havent updated it in a while so i dont have the newer ombie cards for the deck but its not that old either the cards could still be used for your deck also and it might give you some ideas. heres my deck anyways http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/zombies-input-please/]]
a creature that has really been a huge part of my deck also is card:Geralf's Messenger he is absolutely ridiculous especially if you have 4 of them. and with your deck being blue also you could use Clone on geralfs messenger and make him that much deadlier that would be a nasty combo.
I think you have too many singles. You would probably have a tighter strategy if more of your cards were 3 or 4x so you had some consistency and predictability in what you were drawing. Also I don't know if I would include Favorable Winds if only 3 of your 26 creatures have flying.
ya thats exactly what i was saying earlier. and ya i agree about the Grimgrin, Corpse-Born he is a great card but the only problem with him is you have to have the right cards to be able to sacrifice or to be able to combo with him.... like Gravecrawler is a perfect combo for him but you have to have good cards to play with him for him to be good.
in This thread I described a framework for making a Blue splash Black zombie deck.
The deck is cheap enough, that you can probably get all the pieces for the price of your Snapcaster Mage (including all 3-4 ruinators) and still have money left over.
If you really want to have a coherent deck, than you should start aggressively trading.
thats definitely a good starter deck for a blue black zombie deck, its a solid deck plus it would be a lot of fun to play with.... but i would throw in some card:Geralf's Messenger maybe some Clone and then combine both of them with Blood Artist because if you clone card:Geralf's Messenger and then use blood artist on him when he dies they would automatically lose 3 life because [[geralfs messenger has undying so he would come to play and deal more damage to them. so with one geralfs messenger you culd deal 6 damage to their life points with two cards and thats even including attacking.
WOW! Sorry for the delay. I honestly didn't think I was gonna get any response, but this is overwhelming!
I definitely have a singles problem. Since I just started, I've just been getting boosters. I'm definitely going to start trading more now that I have a better understanding on what cards I really want.
Good call with the enchantments. I realize now that they don't really fit. Dissipation field and Levitation have won me a few games though.
Thanks so much for the feedback though! I'm going to look into those decks in more detail but I just want to say that I already love this community!
