Check out this chart of lethal commander damage!

Possible Commanders

With Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful + Keleth, Sunmane Familiar at the helm, you will always win by turn 9 against 3 opponents if they were unblocked and unbuffed. Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh + Keleth, Sunmane Familiar is one turn slower but gives you access to red. If you were going for speed, Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice can consistently win in 1v1 by turn 4.

Isamaru, Hound of Konda was the original commander of this deck back when I built it in 2014, but it's outclassed by Yoshimaru now.

Design Philosophy

The original idea was to get to lethal commander damage as quickly as possible without giving any consideration to longevity. So that meant throwing down auras, instants, and sorceries to buff up Isamaru and make it evasive. If it didn't end the game quickly, it ran out of gas and resulted in top-decking. But it was exceptionally effective and was even one of the best Tiny Leader decks to exist.

Nowadays, there's more creatures so it's no longer such a glass cannon and there's more card draw so top-decking is less of an issue. Since the commanders buff themselves, the spells focus more on evasion and protection.

You'll always play Yoshimaru on turn 1, likely play Keleth on turn 2, and then swing for 3 commander damage...
