Ahh, Abzan. Ahh, Siege Rhino .

The Creature Suite

Warden of the First Tree is the all-star of the deck, presenting a very real threat as soon as T1. While it doesn't happen often, activation of his 3rd ability is crippling.

Sylvan Advocate is the bane of Atarka Red. Being able to quickly swing in and still be able to block is great, plus this card is a powerhouse in the late game.

Den Protector has been a standard staple since DTK's release, and that won't change anytime soon.

Reflector Mage is akin to Time Walk on a 2/3 in many cases. Such a powerful card.

Anafenza, the Foremost is massively powerful, albeit a bit hard to cast at times. Once she attacks, however, her ability to buff your team is great. Not to mention, a 4/4 at 3cmc is bonkers.

Siege Rhino is the ultimate beast. JK, it's a rhino. The ultimate rhino. ETB is backbreaking, and trample on a 4 power body.

Wingmate Roc is often game ending as soon as it's cast. 6 flying power across two bodies is superb. Plus they block great.

Dragonlord Ojutai is a quick clock that's hard to remove, plus he draws me cards when he hits face!

The Superfriends

Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is crazy powerful. While mostly played for his 0, making him a creature and attacking is a great way to end the game really quickly. His Emblem is always a nice option to have.

Sorin, Solemn Visitor is incredibly powerful. He gains insane amounts of life very quickly, and can easily put victory out of reach for your opponent. Making a Vampire onto an empty board is an awesome option as well, and if you manage to make his ultimate, many decks can't survive against it.

The Removal Suite

Abzan Charm is also great utility. Drawing cards and buffing my team are great abilities, but the main use is as a removal spell against creatures that just out class mine.

Dromoka's Command is a great little piece of utility. It's great for saving my creatures from burn damage and removing pesky enchantments, but it's main use is to buff one of my creatures and to fight an opponent's creature.

Murderous Cut is a great all-invlusive kill spell that has yet to fail me.

Silkwrap is great at letting me get the pressure on quick against the other aggro decks on the format by removing their blockers. Also kills Jace.
