Bard of Bamboozlement

Commander / EDH Combo Mono-Green

Yisan is a bard by trade, but a rascal by heart. He uses his lyre, Tolmnus, to summon sly elves and stupendous beasts to fight in his stead. He is known to use his talents to woo women and cheat the fool out of their hard-earned treasure.

Yisan, the Wanderer Bard presents a mono green deck which operates with instant speed and can sling a lot of dangerous creatures out very fast. The deck can also generate infinit mana in a lot of ways, which is most of the times a win.

If you like being the archenemy at the table, this is the deck you want to play. The deck is very fast-paced, and people quickly see you as a thread. However, the deck can handle it with its incredible survivability and no matter what Life will find a way.

I can only recommend the deck for its consistency and adaptability. I have played the deck for some time now and in my opinion it is a very fun way to play (and win).

Wombo Combos:

The plan is to cast a mana dork -> give it haste -> produce mana enough to bounce it up in the hand -> repeat with 1 mana in profit every time.
  1. Large mana dorks: Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Karametra's Acolyte or Voyaging Satyr + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
  2. Haste enablers: Swiftfoot Boots, Lightning Greaves and in this case Thousand-Year Elixir
  3. Bounce: Temur Sabertooth
  4. Antoher way is to use Umbral Mantle + a mana dork that produce over 3 mana
This is some of the many usages, when infinite mana is at your disposal.
    1. Pump the team with Kamahl, Fist of Krosa
    2. Make Omnath, Locus of Mana huge
    3. If Temur Sabertooth is on the battlefield, you can take advantage of ETB effects such as Elvish Visionary, Reclamation Sage, Eternal Witness or Verdant Sun's Avatar
    4. Bounce everything up in your hand with Temur Sabertooth, in response to a board wipe. Then recast it with Yeva, Nature's Herald
