Quick note: Guess I'm done here. It was fun while it lasted!

This is my full power competitive Leovold deck. The typical gameplan involves using Ad Nauseam to set up stormy turns powered by Paradox Engine . Once I've filtered through my deck with cheap tutors and cantrips, simultaneously generating plenty of mana, I can win using either a traditional Doomsday pile, Laboratory Maniac with Tainted Pact / Demonic Consultation , or Aetherflux Reservoir .

This build finds its niche alongside well-known High Tide -powered Doomsday decks lead by Zur and Jeleva and the latest Paradox Engine builds designed for Thrasios by relying on Leovold's infamous Teferi's Puzzle Box lock and his synergy with Wheel effects to completely lock out the game as needed. This strategy positions Leovold as a natural predator of many combo strategies, especially opposing storm and Doomsday decks!

Leovold is still a new and relatively unexplored commander. Several people have developed powerful builds relying on the traditional High Tide engine, but I think it's a waste of potential not to capitalize on one of Green's major benefits: mana dorks! My goal with this build was to keep the best parts of the classic High Tide + Doomsday shell in place while taking advantage of Paradox Engine . Switching off High Tide has also smoothed out the manabase, enabled faster ramp in the from of dorks, and given the deck access to a cheap, effective Tainted Pact / Demonic Consultation wincon. Time and testing will tell if Paradox Doomsday is the best build for Leovold, but I'm currently very pleased with my results!
