After a ton of thought and consideration, I've finally made a sizable TCG order to really upgrade my deck! This is my biggest update since my first update with 15 new cards! Many cards that were suggested to me have found their way in, and many dead draws have been retired. On with The show!
Malevolent Whispers out for Lifeline! bushido_man96 this one's for you! Lifeline is a great way to get extra ETB effects and extra sacks! The Whispers just we're good enough. 4 mana and the madness never meant anything.
War Elemental out for Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker! Kiki-Jiki has long been on my want list, now he's finally here! He can easily copy any creatures I throw down, doubling my damage output per turn! Can be tutored via Recruiter of the Guard. The War Elemental was underwhelming. Hard to get RRR so early and is way to conditional. He also isn't effective or big the first time you play him, like Serra Avatar or Malignus.
Felidar Sovereign out for Phyrexian Devourer! The Devourer is a new win-con for Brion. He's risky for sure, but exiling enough cards to get him up to the life total of my opponent is easy compared to the Cat. Tutorable via RotG. The Felidar always felt like a dread draw to me. I usually float at 30 life the entire game so he never had the presence he could have. He was pretty much a 4/6 for 6. Not very sackable.
Sunforger out for Enlightened Tutor! Both tutors, but I have a lot more artifacts and enchantments than I do instants. Sunforger to too long and too much mana to set up, and my instant package wasn't built for it. Sad to see it go but the deck is improved with this swap.
Wild Ricochet out for Gamble! One is useful some of the time, one is useful all of the time. Gamble is also really on with the "Bad Luck" theme. Sad to see riccochet go, but improving the tutor power improves the deck.
Mark of Mutiny out for Steelshaper's Gift! Once again improving the deck! Phasing out the steal effects for tutors!
Insult / Injury out for Gratuitous Violence! My first enchantment damage doubler! Most of my damage is dealt in combat and by Brion, and the one-sidedness of it makes it great! Good replacement for the one time Insult.
Silverblade Paladin out for Phyrexian Soulgorger! Both 3 drops but one has 4x the power! Double strike isn't as important anymore but huge creatures with crazy mana:power ratios still are! Hes also targetable by Sun Titan!
Boros Keyrune out for Coldsteel Heart! I've desided that a turn 3 Brion is very Important for this deck, so 2 cost mana rocks are sneaking their way in!
Boros Cluestone out for Mind Stone! Not as sure about this one. May find better options.
Temur Battle Rage out for Mask of Memory! Card draw! Easy to equip to my big, trampley creatures! The battle rage is a great card but card draw is almost always better!
Glaring Spotlight out for Infiltration Lens! More card draw! The spotlight never did enough, the Lens is either gonna draw me cards or get damage through, both of which I like!
Unwilling Recruit out for Masterwork of Ingenuity! Something to copy all my new equipment! The RRR cost of U.R. was killer.
Traitorous Instinct out for Sculpting Steel! It can copy any equipment but also mana rocks, Well of Lost Dreams, artifact creatures, and win-cons like Phyrexian Processor and Phyrexian Devourer. Instinct just wasn't good enough.
Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion out for Ash Barrens! Mana fixing over double strike that I could never pay for!
That's all the new cards! All in all I'd say the deck is much improved, new tutors, more card draw, better win-cons, a faster mana base, lowering the curve, more repetition of elements and a better focus on our game plan. Would love to know what you all think! Thanks again for all your love and support!

Hello, I really like this deck you have put together! I've been working on my own Brion deck and this has provided a number of helpful ideas. Just a few things, though:
Cards like Serra Avatar and Malignus cannot be tutored for using Recruiter of the Guard. The stars for their power and toughness indicate that their stats are updating no matter what zone they're in.
Unfortunately, I can't read the majority of your primer! When I try and open one of the sub-boxes the large box containing them closes (perhaps only one box can be open at a time?). I'd love to read over what you've discovered about the deck, so please let me know once you have that fixed. Thank you!

I have the same problem as the poster above. Yeago should be able to help you, deck looks pretty cool btw. Planar Cleansing would be a good addition. Doesn't look like you have much interaction with enchantments and artifacts, so a board wipe that gets those, and walkers might be worth a slot.

brewtzar, Hyperalgialysis: Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I hadn't even noticed! Fixed the problem, it looks long and spread out but I'll figure out how to condense it later. Good enough for now.

Hyperalgialysis good suggestion! I'm slowly adding more artifacts/equipment so I don't know if Planar Cleansing will be the right fit, but I'll keep it in mind as I do own one! Thanks!

Here's my current deck list, freshly posted: Sir Flingalot. I'll be writing up a primer soon!
And yeah, it's a real shame about the recruiter. Still though, it works real well with Ball Lightning and such, so that makes it pretty worth it.

DerpyFace He's cool. Not great against wide strategies and only good against voltron if they aren't hexproof. Is he worth the $8? I'll think about him.

Mass Mutiny could be great. Especially if you run more sacrifice outlets, or thornbite staff. Maybe over a 4 mana threaten effect?
