This is a deck I've been contemplating building for a while. It was inspired by a kind of demon tribal deck I had made for myself at the beginning of the Return to Ravinca block in black and white. It had a few things I wanted to accomplish; 1) Create tokens, 2)Sacrifice said tokens because of Demons, and 3)Decimate my opponents by forcing everyone to sac creatures while I either drain them or outright body them with demonic creatures. It was a lot simpler to put together and play than you might think. It won a few games and I was proud of it.

SO when I got back into playing and had just completely dedicated myself to Commander/EDH I contemplated what a cool deck idea would be. I wanted to do a demon edh. NAY! I wanted something much more thematic, a deck with demons, angels, the usual sacrificing, a deck that could set a horror scene in a religious setting. Something that I could tell a story with as I played. However I never got around to it, I backed out because of personal beliefs and I was just in a pretty bad place mentally. I wanted to make a deck I could have stupid fun with, not be a dick to others. Plus for what I wanted to do my(and this is a personal opinion) only choice was probably Ayli and I wanted better.

And here we are after Rivals of Ixalan... I found my commander... and her name is Elenda. So in keeping with some of the ideas for the original draft I had written up for the original; I've built it with sacrificing tokens and the creatures of others for Elenda, I'm still keeping demons and angels in this, I still have horror themes I can see in it, and I included recursion for Elenda so hopefully I only need to cast her from the command zone maybe once or twice. This will be more of an experiment than anything and I can only hope for it to turn out well.
