Cut 10 forests for 10 snow-covered forests - For field of the dead

Cut Hall of the Bandit Lord for Scavenger Grounds - Interaction > Losing life for haste I didn't always need. Not coming in tapped is good too

Cut Shamanic Revelation for Green Sun's Zenith - Tutoring > Maybe drawing a few cards. Getting the right creature when I need is should be helpful. While it might be limiting to green creatures, it should still put in work.

Cut Regal Force for Finale of Devastation - See above, but with a potential wincon

Cut Zendikar Resurgent for Ancient Greenwarden - Zendikar was nice to have, as a mana doubler which drew me cards, it has helped me assuming it sticks on board. Many times people would remove it prior to me being able to use it. Ancient greenwarden has direct synergy with avenger, field, tireless, etc.... in addition to further redundancy.

I love control decks, so I decided to go out of my comfort zone with a beatdown wincon. I would love to make this deck as competitive as possible, aside from land destruction. While we run a few LD cards, it is mostly to remove utility lands rather than to obliterate a mana base. There is no budget for this deck. If you suggest something, let me know why you think it would be worthwhile (maybe even a card to remove from my list).

There are 2 themes to the deck...

Lands Matter Show

Each land has it's purpose, and the purpose of the deck is to get the lands you need to help you win. This usually is some form of Gaea's Cradle, Eye of Ugin or a Field of the Dead. You can get whatever you need really, but Eye of Ugin is one of the first targets as once we reach 7 mana, we can tutor for Eldrazi like Kozilek's to help fuel our card draw.

Tooth and Nail/Woodland Bellower Chains Show

Use Tooth and Nail to get Ulvenwald Hydra and Woodland Bellower, which gets you Gaea's Cradle and Eternal Witness, returning Tooth and Nail back to your hand. Next turn cast it to get Avenger of Zendikar and another creature or just tutor for an Eldrazi to the hand and hard cast with cradle mana to get the cast trigger.

Woodland Bellower usually gets Fierce Empath (both can search for the other) or get whatever else you need.

The card you draw per turn occurs before Sylvan Library AND counts towards the number of cards drawn this turn (relevant below)

At the beginning of my draw step, I can:

1. Dredge the first card I draw in the turn, then sylvan library triggers. I can draw 2 additional cards, then put two cards I've already draw that turn on top of my library or pay 4 life for each.

2. Draw the card for my turn. Dredge one additional card and draw another one. If I don't want to pay life, I need to put on top the card I draw for my turn and the last card I draw with sylvan library (assuming no other cards were drawn that turn) . Otherwise, I need to pay 4 life for each card drawn this turn, including the first card drawn in the draw step.

3. Dredge 3 cards, and pay no life (assuming I have 3 cards with dredge in the graveyard)

Relevant Rulings

Kozilek, Butcher of Truth + Momentous Fall Show

I cast momentous fall, sacrificing Kozilek as a cost. Momentous fall goes on the stack. Kozilek hits the GY, shuffle trigger goes on the stack. Since Kozilek's trigger was the last one in, it becomes the first one out, meaning I would shuffle my library prior to drawing cards + gaining life.

Kozilek, Butcher of Truth + Life from the Loam Show

During my draw step, I choose to dredge 3 using Life from the Loam, milling 2 cards and Kozilek, the Butcher of Truth. Since Dredge replaces "draw a card" with "put this card into your hand from your graveyard and put the top N cards of your library into your graveyard," then LFTL will already be in my hand prior to Kozilek's trigger resolving
