yay. ive been trying to get a heroic deck for months, but my local card shop never was able to keep all the singles in stock long enough for me to build u/w heroic. ive turned to ordering online and this is what ive built, and the number of cards run. lets face it this is a net deck. just another blue white heroic deck running all the usual cards you're all used to seeing. below is a break down.
Aqueous Form - ive gone heavy on scry with this build. x3 aqueous for scry and unblockable creatures.
Battlewise Hoplite
- again ive gone heavy on scry. x4 for the scry value.
Temple of Enlightenment
- ya its slow mana, but it lets me control my draws.
Gods Willing - 1 drop protection with scry, an easy choice to mainboard 4 of.
15 things that scry, and hoplite gives multiple opportunities for this.
Seeker of the Way
- good card but im not a big fan of his temporary boosts. so he is a x2 of.
Hero of Iroas
- x4 to make araus cheaper. makes eidolon cheeper to bestow.
Favored Hoplite
- x4, i like his ability to prevent damage on himself.. solid 1 drop.
Feat of Resistance
- 1/1 counter and protection, if it were only a drop id run more.
Lagonna-Band Trailblazer - ive mainboarded one because, well; hes a wall in an aggro deck, however he can easily become a 2/6 or bigger, and a headache for opposing aggro decks.
Ordeal of Heliod
- heroic trigger that after 3 attacks nets you 10 life and 3 additional counters im running only one because i feel there is better spells and although this fits a heroic deck perfectly, i dont have room for additional copies.
Pacifism
- just replaced
Singing Bell Strike
, its stronger in that the opponent cant pay 6 mana to untap, it also is, like SBS an aura for Heliod's Pilgrim to search for.
Defiant Strike - gives pump, card draw, and a counter, card draw is always a huge advantage and this card is just plain good value for 1 mana.
Stratus Walk
- its nice to have a flyer out there, as well as more card draw, yes it has a down side in that you can only block creatures with flying. but this is an aggro deck so its not a big concern.
Ordeal of Thasa - as you scry away lands you dont need with a hoplite and sacrifice ordeal you get to draw 2 cards. this is an easy x4 of.
Heliod's Pilgrim - its a chump blocker for me, lets me get an aura of my choice at least the deck wouldnt work as well without this addition.

Treasure Cruise - itll be easy to delve if you need to get that extra card draw.
Stubborn Denial - 1 drop counter spell with the ferocious trigger, alot of these 2/2 bears will be 4/4s or bigger and make this card a viable option.
Glare of Heresy
- for the mirror match.
Suspension Field
- its nice to side in for midrange matches. there are alot of 3 toughness or more headaches in the standard format right now i.e
