FNM Results —Jan. 16, 2014

I tested a very close to this build of the deck at the FNM:

Round 1: Burn

Lost game 1 very badly, even though i had main board Kitchen Finks ( a great blink target). G2 I sided in the leyline and several Kor Firewalker (i had only them at the time and no lone missionary). I played a leyline t4 on game 2 and won easily afterwards. Game 3, I had it in the opener, won easily

1-0

Round 2: Infect BUG

Lost horribly, never drew PtE, he was very fast. Blinking a Leonin Relic-Warder when he attacked with an animated Inkmoth Nexus was priceless. it Basically meant a fog for the turn.

1-1

Round 3: UR storm

The first game we played a game of pack wars to determine the winner. Remember, the F in FNM stands for Fun!

G2 I won barely off exiling two pyromancer ascention and beating with an angel while exiling the lands.

G3 was very close, I never drew a leyline and he won on something like 2 life and 2 lands.

1-2

Round 4: Naya Ramp

G1 I won via resolving a venser, and never allowing him to have a land or a big creature. G2 was very similar, he never had a chance to resolve anything that impacted the game for more than a turn.

2-2

Overall, I was very satisfied with the deck, given that i received the cards in the mail that very Friday and had no time to build it and test it. Next FNM, it will be tested more, and I will update the build to the one I have currently.

With all the triggered abilities that exile stuff, you should consider Strionic Resonator , to double the usefulness of
Flickerwisp
Leonin Relic-Warder
Restoration Angel
Wall of Omens
Detention Sphere
Journey to Nowhere
Oblivion Ring , and
Lone Missionary .
