So this is a bit different from what I usually do as I normally only make casual EDH decks, but it was bothering me how some people claim their deck is casual, yet still have a bunch of infinite combos in their decks. So I figured I should get at least one deck that is as lame and unfun to play against as possible.

So I wanted to make a deck that can be very competitive while still keeping a budget. So I figured the cheapest would be to go mono coloured for the cheapest and most reliable landbase, but find a commander that can easily combo off.

Azami seemed like the perfect fit! It is stupidly easy to win with her just by drawing my deck and playing a Laboratory Maniac or Psychosis Crawler. The only really expensive card in this deck is Pact of Negation and Time Warp which I only added, beacause I already have a copies of them. The non-budget upgrades are in the maybe board which I might one day add if I ever feel like I have too much money.

The main win conditions are:

Mind Over Matter + Azami, Lady of Scrolls + Laboratory Maniac: Draw my entire deck, maniac makes me win.
Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + any mana rock(s) that can produce 3 or more mana: infinite mana which I can use to cast Azami, Lady of Scrolls and any number of wizards to draw out my deck and win by either Laboratory Maniac or mill everyone with Blue Sun's Zenith.
Paradox Engine + Azami, Lady of Scrolls and any number of wizards + enough mana rocks to pretty much cast anything I draw: Keep drawing cards, keep casting spells until you've either found your other win cons or your opponents scoop.

The rest of the decks is support. I just try to stay in the game long enough to win and I do so by disrupting my opponents' plays with counterspells and other mass removal like Cyclonic Rift, Wash Out and Evacuation.

Add in some extra draw engines like Mystic Remora and Rhystic Study and some extra turn spells with Temporal Trespass and Temporal Mastery and I should be good to go.
