This is meant to be a casually competitive deck that takes advantage of sacrificing creatures and reanimating them to take advantage of enter the battlefield/when creature dies triggers. There are a few combos that make the deck powerful without necessarily being too frustrating to play against either. The main combos involve Solemnity which can be paired with undying and persist creatures to essentially make them immortal (except to exile). The primary combo, being Solemnity + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, makes all non-human creatures invulnerable to destruction and sacrifice, which makes Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim's abilities pretty nuts. I've tried to exclude really expensive cards like the really general tutors, and cards/combos that I think are poison to a game of magic like Necropotence, or Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond when I could. I don't consider a three card infinite combo like Ashnod's Altar + Geralf's Messenger + Solemnity to be one of those combos because it requires three cards of which none are my commander. Similarly, combos like Solemnity + Glacial Chasm and Solemnity + Phyrexian Unlife are very powerful, but do not immediately win me the game. The maybeboard is for cards that could find a spot in the deck, but I'm not quite sure they are powerful enough, or cards that I think are simply not worth their price for this deck. Advice is very appreciated, especially if you think one of the maybeboard cards needs to be in the list.
