The main combo of this deck is pay life using cards like Wall of Blood or Aetherflux Reservoir to get my life total down to 1. Repay in Kind to bring everyone else down to 1. Use either Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim or Children of Korlis to gain all that life back, while killing my opponents with cards like Blood Artist , Cliffhaven Vampire , or Sanguine Bond as I bounce back up in life total.

The sub-theme of the deck is Vampire Tribal, with cards like Elenda, the Dusk Rose , Bloodbond Vampire , and Bloodthrone Vampire creating prime opportunities for Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim to use her first ability and gains tons of life. Butcher of Malakir helps clear the board as Ayli feasts on these potentially-massive Vamps.
