The aim of this deck is to passively gain enough life to be able to use Ayli's second ability, turning the deck into the board police and from there stabilize and win with big life change swings or a infinite combo.

The big synergies in this deck are any sort of "pay life" cards like Ad Nauseam / Bolas's Citadel or Necropotence paired with either Children of Korlis or Tainted Sigil. Adding cards like Sanguine Bond / Reliquary Tower or any recursion for the life gainers like Lurrus of the Dream-Den or Luminous Broodmoth will surely torpedo you into the lead.

My favorite synergies in this deck is Ayli paired with Tree of Perdition to drain the life from one of your opponents, or Nykthos Paragon + Angelic Accord / Crested Sunmare for BIG dudes and BIG lifegain EACH turn. Ayli paired with Academy Rector can also be devastating for your opponents since you can instant speed fetch a combo piece like Sanguine Bond, carddraw like Necropotence, life gain payoffs like Nykthos Paragon or even one of the meanest boardwipes in the game in my opinion: Out of Time (Everyone say bye-bye to your commanders).
