I'm a noob, so advice is always welcome. :)

So I'm liking the "awaken" concept. The idea behind this deck is to constantly play lands, sometimes multiple lands in a turn. Ramp up and be able to awaken your lands. Lose a land? No problem, just awaken another while countering something.

With so many lands available, throwing in an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger or other big Eldrazi isn't a problem. I've played against a deck that had 8 land destruction in it and still came out on top because there is just so much land.

Like I said, I'm new so I am very open to any advice anyone has. Thanks for looking. :)

Major Revisions: 10/10/2015

O.k. So I took the deck to FNM and got stomped. It's just too slow and has too few creatures. I'm thinking that I've dedicated too much to the "awakening" of the land, as awakening land costs a lot of mana. I also got mana screwed a lot, even on 27 lands. So I'm going to add some Evolving Wilds and some cards that tap for two mana, per previous suggestions.

I also decided to add Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Void Winnower, and two Conduit of Ruin.

My next focus is to find some smaller creatures that run with the theme of the deck and better control cards. I don't really like Spell Shrivel and I felt like I ended up watching the my opponent actually play the game while I passed too many turns.

As always, I'm very open to suggestions. Thanks!
