This deck is almost an attempt to re-create one of my favourite Simic decks from Return to Ravnica, using big creatures and making them bigger. I wanted to keep the stipulation that they had to be ridiculous, and while we don't get many fish mutants any more, the inclusion of Cloud Manta in Battle for Zendikar meant that I could at least have flying fish, so the deck really started from there. Fairgrounds Trumpeter and Saddleback Lagac are also important to the ridiculous theme here, but there is actually an Awaken theme of making manlands within the deck, also. I suppose that's the more serious theme for the deck, but still - flying fish...
