Clue engine keeps you alive and swimming in tokens and cards. Cryptolith Rite allows you to tap your tokens and crack your clues at the end of opponents turn. Gain all the life with
Graf Mole
and never have to block!
You pretty much never want to enter combat, unless you have enough tokens and fliers to reasonably assume that you can win the game that turn. Just build and build and build, and chump block if you have to. Don't forget that Erdwal Illuminator fires on your opponent's turn as well.
One thing that helped me remember triggers was to always put my permanents on the battlefield in the same order, and then go left to right when a trigger happens.
"Ok, before the end of your turn, I will tap all my creatures to sacrifice 4 clues. Put 4 human tokens onto the battlefield, Gain 12 life, draw 4 cards. Ok, begin my turn, untap, upkeep, Tamiyo's Journal triggers, get a clue, which triggers Erdwal, get another one. Draw, play a Thraben Inspector, get a clue, Bygone Bishop, get another one, sacrifice three clues and tap Tamiyo's Journal, put three humans on the battlefield, gain 9 life, search my library for a Hedron Alignment...." etc etc.
How to win: Get your engine online as fast as possible. Play three
Hedron Alignment
, and then Angelic Purge one to exile, sacrificing the other. Then tutor the 4th at the end of your opponents turn with Tamiyo's Journal.
