When I saw Depala, Pilot Exemplar I was really hyped for her, not only because of her cool art and character (she has her vehicles tattoed) but because she was a Boros commander. I love Boros, but its a color combinations that really struggles to find a good connection of the major themes of the colors. But Depala offered something new, janky, but with potential for future sets.

Most of the Depala decks are quite bad, they simply jam in all the dwarves and vehicles and put some support and expect the deck to work. Of course It doesn't, dwarves are mostly bad cards, there are like 10 barely playable. And the same is true for vehicles, however they have more nods, they are first artifacts (which have a lot of support) and they are only sometimes creatures making them resistant to sweapers.

My take on Depala is artifact focused, it has some residues of the eggs list I considered for a while. It has two major infinite mana combos one based on: Foundry Inspector or Cloud Key with card:Ashnod Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks with Junk Diver , Myr Retriever or Workshop Assistant. And Basalt Monolith with Rings of Brighthearth. For there we can tap Depala and search for all our vehicles and dwarves and make the hasty ones infinitely big with Mirror Entity. The combo can also be chained with other ETB triggers like Reckless Fireweaver.

But that's not all, the deck also features some tokens synergies and some sacrifice outlets in eggslike lines, so there are cards like Leave / Chance, Indomitable Creativity, Makeshift Munitions , Ghirapur AEther Grid and mass spells like Scrap Mastery, Faith's Reward and Roar of Reclamation. To deal damage, resurrect the artifacts, sacrifice them for value,etc.
