Aura-gami Gnarlid - GW Hexproofed Honey Badger

Casual Aura Hexproof Budget Casual Enchantment GW (Selesnya)

Use Hero of Iroas to reduce Aura casting costs. Stack Hexproof (also adding some evasion) and pump Auras on the Hero triggering his Heroic ability, while peppering in some control Auras, until the Aura Gnarlid or Yavimaya Enchantress drops. Hexproof your new pumped beater ASAP and continue to pump, control, grow.

I'm trying to avoid the Gladecover Scout + Slippery Bogle deck for something a little more original.

I have not come across any decks using full sets of Alpha Authority & Canopy Cover together, although they may be out there. Instead of focusing on creatures that already have hexproof, I want to grant hexproof to creatures who greatly benefit from the effect as well as benefit from the fact that the enchantment is an Aura. Kor Spiritdancer is an obvious choice but I do not want to break the bank on this build (also no Daybreak Coronet).

I'm a little worried about only running 12 creatures. I've thought about mainboarding Aegis of the Gods in order to give myself Hexproof to negate burn spells to the face and "sacrifice creature" spells.

Thoughts?

Updates Add

Added 4x Avacyn's Pilgrim in order to make a turn 2 Hexproofed Hero of Iroas possible via Alpha Authority or Canopy Cover.
