Aura Aura Aura! (V3.1)

So I saw a Bant Bogle deck recently and it kind of inspired me to change up my favorite Aura deck once again. This time I'm finally splashing some green.

Here is a link to my old deck Aura aura aura! (V2.3)

So the big change is adding green. What does that mean? Well the biggest reason I decided to add green was Season of Growth . I'm running 4 of this amazing enchantment mostly for card draw although the scry is nice. A big issue I would run into with my previous version of this deck was card draw. If my initial rush was somehow countered I was often left with few cards in hand and few ways to come back. Kor Spiritdancer is amazing but she is also an easy target. I also added two Rancor because why not and also 2 Gladecover Scout . I miss my Hero of Iroas a lot but there just aren't enough auras that he reduces the cost of to make him worth keeping.

The final change to the main deck breaks my heart a little. If you read through my previous two versions of this deck you'll know that Bruna, Light of Alabaster is probably my favorite card in magic. Love the art, love the effect, etc... and I was real stubborn about taking her out. She definitely won me some games and it always felt good when I managed to pull that off but sadly most times she was a dead card in hand and running Swiftfoot Boots just for her and Kor Spiritdancer felt too clunky. So, finally, she is out of the deck. I may try and just build a deck around her specifically in the future but for now she's in the binder. Replacing her is the much more economic Geist of Saint Traft . The spooky spirit is hexproof and trows and angel at people whenever he attacks. What's not to love?

So those are most of the big changes. The Sideboard has gone through a bit of an upgrade as well thanks to cards like Veil of Summer so hopefully the deck performs as well as I think it will. The only thing I worry aout is balancing my mana, especially because I don't own any fetch lands but I have a good about of duals that come in untapped so I think I should be okay.

One thing I have been debating is running fewer counters since more of my creatures are hexproof but I'm going to hold off on that until I do some playtesting. As always any and all suggestions and thoughts on the deck are welcome!
