Atris deck that is still a work in progress and leans heavily into the flavour of the creature rather than straight power. All players on the table should be engaged with the deals going on and punished if they try to play it too cool! Almost every card has been put into the deck to either leverage a deal or keep your opponents guessing.

The first stratergy is gaining card selection and draw from all the various Fact or Fiction style effects in Dimir. This leads into having graveyard recursion, so that you still have acess to cards binned this way. Clones like Dimir Doppelganger also help you still get value from your yard.

The next strat is gaining politcal power through shady dealings. Utilizing vote/table decision cards that always have you coming out on top, and "symmetrical" effects. Crafting hands and board states to be able to win with Atemsis (card selection synergies) and Etrata (clone/flciker synergies) is easier than you think when everyone is your friend.

Last play path is through ETB and bounce/flicker effects that not only keep the other strats running but also help protect your board and police others. Clones also help keep you relevant creature wise and help avoid having a beater pointed your way.

The long game plan is to wheel and deal your way to a heads up situation and count on your value engines to pull you ahead on board.

"But" I hear you cry "Sensei's Divining Top and Halimar Depths and Ponder/Preordain etc, would help you always have perfect info for Atris!" This is true, and exactly why I am not running them. The Atris mechanic is incredibly fun and adds a whole new meta to the game. It is something I want to keep in tact.

I have also removed Peregrine Drake as the inherent draw value of Atris made the Drake/Deadeye combo just too inevitable and the feel bads for other players game after game was real.

Hope you enjoy, and make sure you word you deals very carefully...
