Superfriends

Planeswalkers are arguably the most powerful permanents you can include in your deck, and most of the time you're just playing them for value. But in builds like this, the goal is to protect your planeswalkers and get them to their ultimates as quickly as possible. We have very strong effects in Inexorable Tide, Doubling Season, the Chain Veil and our commander Atraxa herself. These all help us get to some ridiculous emblems much sooner than is typical which will allow us to dominate the game.

Infect

So let's talk about the elephant in the room. Infect is probably the most controversial mechanic in EDH since it's so antithetical to the typical nature of the format. Sometimes though you get a commander like Skittles (featured) or the new Atraxa and it just says "let's make everyone else uncomfortable". And to balance the predicted hate and feel bads felt by many, the infect theme here will be light, showing up on only the few best creatures and a very underrated equipment. If you're playing this deck I suggest avoiding playing out your infect creatures until you are well suited to defend them and yourself.
