Atraxa Digs your Grave

Commander / EDH*

Sideboard

Creature (1)

Maybeboard

The deck revolves around stalling long enough for you to either end the game with an infinite combo or use one of the game altering ults of a planeswalker. it's more than likely that you will win with the combo since it is more consistent and easy to pull off. Always remember that your Life is also a resource!

Updates Show

Description will be updated with explanation of cards.

The sideboard are cards that needs to be in the deck but i haven't figured out what to take out yet and suggestions would be nice

Drawbacks:

(these are some of the problems I have noticed with the deck)

  • The deck is very vulnerable against aven mincensor or any card that punishes you when you are tutoring.

  • Like any control deck if you don't get enough removal for early game you will be destroyed.

  • If you are unlucky enough to not get any of the dig engines (which is very unlikely) you are screwed. Don't keep a hand without a draw engine imo.

Odd Picks Reasoning:

  • Umezawa's Jitte the reason this is here is because the abilities are good and there are enough token production and creatures in the deck to support it from getting counters. You can always cast your general and equip jitte

  • Bitterblossom This card is in a weird spot for this deck I agree there are other good cards i can add instead of this but I like the token production value of bitterblossom since you can always gain life with your general. If you want to cut something out of the deck this is one of the first cards that you would most likely cut out.

  • Inkmoth Nexus It's an alternative win condition

  • Karn, Scion of Urza I am currently playtesting baby Karn. In theory he can protect himself by making a dude that is strong enough since there are enough artifacts in the deck and can help with the deck digging for your win condition.

Card Synergies and infinite combos:

Original

  • Artificer's Assistant + Sensei's Divining Top Both cards are already good all by themselves but if both cards are on the field fixing your draws have never been easier

  • Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth Rings of Brighthearth is already very good in the deck because of the amount of active abilities that are used in the deck. With Basalt Monolith it creates an infinite colorless mana which can be used for a lot of things

  • If you can manage to ult with both tamiyo planeswalker the game is over. :D
