Hey everyone! This is my Atemsis: Strange Aeons concept, which you may have guessed by the name was inspired by my love for HP Lovecraft's work. The idea behind the theme is that when Atemsis the all-seeing reveals to the opponent what is truly out there beyond the veil, they lose their hold on sanity and are defeated as they retreat to the safety of their delusions and a dark padded cell. Failing that, the enemy are sure to be crushed under the crawling chaos of the Eldrazi as they spill forth from the inter-planar voids.

Now that I have that out of my system, The basic idea behind this theme deck is to win by knocking out opponents with Atemsis's You-Lose ability. A few spells are in to make sure she can deliver the damage when necessary Hermetic Study + Psionic Gift + Rogue's Passage , and the cmc spread of the deck is nice and wide. Spells like Enter the Infinite + Library of Leng + Psychic Possession are there to ensure the win con can be reached and Possessed Portal could potentially lock up the game for you. Laboratory Maniac is in there just in case the opponents get tricky after you draw your deck.

Paradoxical Outcome is there just in case your win con pieces are in play, allowing you to quickly get the necessary cards back in your hand.

Lots of colorless ramp and select creatures provide the alternate win con of stompy Eldrazi goodness, or even commander damage if things really go off the rails.

This was an extremely fun deck to design and I cannot wait to order the pieces I'm missing so i can give it a try. If anyone has any ideas which would go great with the theme and be on budget, I would love to hear them! Thanks for your time!
