Signal Pest may be a good addition. Quite often it is unblockable.

very true but I wouldn't know what to remove for it as Hope of Ghirapur takes its spot and is a 100% must to defend against control

Nice deck! I have a similar one on my profile, basically a budget version of affinity. I do have a few disagreements with some of your choices here though. First of which is including Hope of Ghirapur in the main. You say that it is necessary versus control, which it may be, but then why not just include it in your sideboard to bring in against control. With 4 in the the main you have a creature that does next to nothing against aggro or midrange, and is sometimes good against combo but not in the way you'd be using it just to resolve an ensoul. Also it is legendary, meaning having multiple in your opening hand is incredibly detrimental to your artifact count if you just plan on saccing one straight away. Another strange inclusion is Inkmoth Nexus. Without Arcbound Ravager to complete the combo, you'll need quite a few turns to get an infect kill. And it doesn't count as an artifact in its unactivated form so I would probably replace that with either Blinkmoth Nexus or another artifact creature such as Master of Etherium or Signal Pest if you wish to lower your curve. I also prefer running Bomat Courier as card advantage over Thoughtcast because it ups your artifact count, having it in your opening hand is a much better feeling, and it has much higher upside. I'm also not so hot on Ensoul Artifact in general. It has huge potential to be 2-for-1ed, even on a Darksteel Citadel. It doesn't up your artifact count either. Anyway, those are just my longwinded opinions.

why Hope of Ghirapur?

its just a play style thing mainly, it can stall alot of decks not just control such as tron for example, no Expedition Map will buy you 1 full turn in a turn 4 win deck

why Inkmoth Nexus?

its not in my deck? i have Blinkmoth Nexus and always have its cheaper and becomes a 3/3 with Tempered Steel

as for Thoughtcast

ive tried i would say most if not all artifact based draw card and just settled on Thoughtcast as it just lands more often.

and finally Ensoul Artifact

you are very mush right about the risks but to hit turn 2 for 5 damage cant be looked down at even meta affinity finds it hard 2 hit that hard that fast

Hope of Ghirapur: Ok, I see what you're trying to do now. I'm not sure if it's the best version of what this deck could be, but I see it. The ghost quarters and HoG are meant to stall tron, storm to an extent, titan shift, etc. I still think it would be situated somewhat better in the sideboard but alright.

Inkmoth Nexus: hmm you're completely right about that. I think I simply misread your list.

Thoughtcast: I guess if you're going for more of a stall strategy then it is a better choice. It probably increases your chances of increasing a later round win than having Galvanic Blast in the main, but 4 just feels like too much to me.

Ensoul Artifact: hitting for 5 on turn 2 is meaningless if they 2-for-1 you the turn after, and it becomes leagues worse once they start siding in Fragmentize or Disenchant

This is budget, beautiful, and kicks butt. I give it an upvote, and will probably build it myself sometime, as I don't have a fun deck in colors yet.

So my only real suggestion is Glimmervoid over Mana Confluence. Other than that, I'm overall impressed with the list. I would suggest Tezzeret's Touch somewhere in the main because it grants psuedo indestructible, but otherwise, it's pretty good.

thanks dude Glimmervoid is on my buy list but at 40 for a play set it's out of budget atm. as for Tezzeret's Touch It was in my 1st build of this deck combining it with Hope of Ghirapur was so OP and I will 100% be keeping it in mind for the future of this deck

1xTomb of the Spirit Dragon - I can't tell you how good it's been on my deck, Cheap Steel. Also, 1xBuried Ruin. With 4xSpringleaf Drum, I don't think you really need 4xMana Confluence and 4xSpire of Industry.

Since we're on the topic, I think you'd be interested in my deck. It has the same idea of using small creatures and buffing them with a very specific buff, but instead of artifacts, it's tokens. Maybe you could give me some suggestions?

Sorry for being "that guy" she endorsing my deck in another thread, I just really want suggestions on it.

Tomb of the Spirit Dragon is an epic suggestion I'll see if I can grab one before tnight tornement. sadly the reason i need so much mana fixing is the double white in Tempered Steel it's a pain but it's needed and I'll be glad to help lyre4lyra
