Aristocratic Luxuries

Modern* Aristocrats WB (Orzhov)

Creature (1)

This is a deck focused around the card Blood Artist, and as such, is a sacrifice deck. Hope you enjoy it!

  • Blood Artist: The main reason this deck exists. Has great synergy with almost every card in this deck.
  • Zulaport Cutthroat: Effectively a second, worse Blood Artist.
  • Viscera Seer: Solid one-drop, is a great sacrifice engine, and allows us to filter our cards to get to the combo pieces we need.
  • Yahenni, Undying Partisan: Another great sacrifice outlet, and will virtually never die with their amazing ability. Not to mention that this card becomes wickedly massive in the late game.
  • Cartel Aristocrat: The third sacrifice outlet out of the creatures, and a great one at that. Can go on the offensive or defensive with her ability.
  • Doomed Traveler: The other one-drop in this deck. Great sacrifice fodder, and creates another 1/1 when it dies to sacrifice as well? Say no more, it is too perfect.
  • Athreos, God of Passage: Do I even neeed to explain this card? It is this deck's wincon, does everything we need it to, and will destroy the opponent if left unchecked. Solid card.
  • Lingering Souls: One of the best, if not the best, way of making tokens which can serve as sacrifice fodder for our sacrifice outlets.
  • Secure the Wastes: Another fantastic token generator that can fill any place on the mana curve.
  • Dictate of Erebos: Another wincon, and insane with all of our sacrifice outlets. Will wreak havoc on the opponent's board state.
  • Rally the Ancestors: Since most of the creatures in this deck are under 2 mana, this card can be amazing at only 4 total mana, bringing back several creatures that have already been sacrificed, to be sacrificed again, dealing more damage to our opponent.
  • Dark Prophecy: This deck's main way of getting card draw. The amount of creatures that get sacrificed will feed into this spell, getting us all the card advantage we would ever need, and the loss of life can be balanced by the life gain from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Shambling Vent .
  • Anguished Unmaking: Great removal, and we can accept the life loss, because we will be gaining a fair amount of life in this deck.
