This is a Wall Tribal deck. As such, there are a LOT of creatures, all of them except Arcades Sabboth have Defender, and all but a tiny handfull of those are Walls. Joining them are the strange wall effects from the dawn of M:tG, like Fortified Area and the Glyphs. Also present are vigilance granters, banding granters, and just a few more little monkey wrenches to throw in the way of enemies trying to make progress.

While this is a blue-including deck, it's dedicated to its tribal theme. As such, it's liable to be weak against combo or creature-light decks while winning on both quantity and quality against other decks that want to use a lot of creatures, especially when considering the package to hate out high-power creatures.

So, what makes the new Arcades so great? Briefly put, he generates colossal card advantage out of a fairly easy source. Walls are, for the most part, quite cheap: the bread and butter of an Arcades Sabboth deck consists of 2 mana and some 3 mana creatures that will be attacking with 4-8 virtual power, often with relevant abilities. Meanwhile, because Arcades draws you a card every time you get a new creature with Defender, your Walls will rapidly flood the board, at least so far as you dare (Depending on your meta, you will probably want to keep a couple back to restart the chain after a wrath of god effect comes down). Because Walls are known for their high toughness, you are also moderately safe from reprisal, though it pays to have vigilance (an ability that walls will, quite naturally, not possess in an innate fashion, necessitating Brave the Sands, Serra's Blessing, or perhaps Masako the Humorless). Essentially, the vast bulk of the deck pulls well above its very low mana curve, and keeps your hand full.
