Arcades, the Strategist is on High Alert and strongly believes in the old adage of "the best defense is a good offense" by taking his massive defenders and beating his opponents in the face with them.

Surge Mare could be swapped out for Wall of Mist but the horse gives a little bit more utility and can still attack if you don't have Arcades or High Alert out

Portcullis Vine could be swapped for Wall of Vines or Saruli Caretaker just depends on if you want mana, draw or reach.

Edits: Put in Wall of Vines instead of portcullis vines for reach protection, and dropped Deputy of Detention and reduced Quench to a two of, to make room for more Arcades, the Strategist , and Karn, Scion of Urza to help with card draw, and and Amaranthine Wall for more defender's triggers
