Arahbo "Land, meow"

Leviathan* GW (Selesnya)

Sideboard

Arahbo, Roar of the World deck, called "Land, meow" by the community supporting it during the Lord of the Seas trial in Bologna 2017.The deck was built around the general's abilities so you will find many cats, of course, but not just them. The problem with them is they don't scale well with each other (or they bring a minimal advantage): having a cat on the battlefield is great, having 3 or more is not because just one will get the trigger. With many cats in hand or on the battlefield you are facing opportunity costs drawing cards you don't need and wasting resources for more cats who bring no value while the opponents will draw for answers or develop their own plan. With this decklist you want to win fast by creating an incremental state of pressure on the board. The ideal situation is to have one active cat + a backup one (on the board or in hand depending on the matchup) and big fighters (strong generic creatures from the GW pool) to close the game as soon as possible or at lets to give a hard time to the opponent. If you don't do it, the opponent will stabilize and the game is gone, the window is closing fast: jump in!
