Apex Storm (Standard MTG Deck)

The ultimate goal of the deck is to resolve Thousand-Year Storm then cast Lightning Strike or shock and duplicate it with expansion. Expansion / Explosion and Fight with Fire are our back up plans in case the Thousand-Year Storm is removed.

The deck is pretty reliable thanks to explosion and Apex of Power. The deck ramps with mana rocks; Powerstone Shard and Gilded Lotus in order to remove green and make a more stable mana base.

While Omniscience is not in the list, I highly recommend it for the memes.

It doesn't matter how much life your opponent gains once you start using expansion on expansion on expansion on a lightning strike with a thousand year storm out. The deck is capable of doing upwards of 300 damage in a turn.
