Face down, ass up.

Placing cards face down can be a lot of fun, you can play mind games with your opponents. You can speak ambiguously at all times. "I don't know man, it could be a lot of things." People love that. The idea is simple, despite being a casualesque deck, at it's heart it's still a combo deck. You've got the usual Animar combos, but you don't have the usual Ferrari speed AniUltraCombo9000 cards. The fun part is playing something like Willbender then after you morph him (much to your opponents chagrin) slap him back into your hand with Temur Sabertooth Crystal Shard Cloudstone Curio and either play him again or something else. Animar lets you do this basically for free, it's like you're shoplifting mana. It is not hard at all to get counters, you don't even need to summon creatures thanks to cards like Llanowar Reborn or Novijen, Heart of Progress and if Animar does get removed we've always got Opal Palace to recover some of our speed. The deck can be played softly using our beefy morphs as battering rams, thanks to Muraganda Petroglyphs, Ixidor, Reality Sculptor, and Secret Plans. You can play it quickly with tutors to grab your combo pieces or oppress your opponents with Dwarven Blastminer, casting Terastodon over and over again, or constantly answering spells with easily repeatable morph creatures.

Combos

Almost all of the combos require Animar to be at three to four counters, pretty easy to achieve. All combos involving Animar typically add a limitless amount of counters making him lethal himself, it's an easy out if you can only grab part of a combo.
