This is my Animar deck. The deck abuses bounce and ETB effects while cheating mana costs using Animar while also pumping him up for possible lethal commander damage. The thing about this deck is that most creatures have a possibility of comboing off with very little setup. For example, using Deadeye Navigator with Peregrine Drake for infinite mana. Why not Palinchron? Great question! I like having friends and dont care to spend $35 on him for something that is still easy to do with the deck. Another combo is with Ancestral statue for lethal commander damage or in the case of having a Soul of the Harvest, drawing out your deck.

Side note on Thespian's Stage: My play group is very black heavy and I can't remember the last time Urborg/Cabal Coffers wasn't in a game.

I am aware that there are stronger ways to build him, but I like having friends to play with so I tried to tone him down a little bit while still being able to do some shenanigans. I am always open for suggestions and would like to hear any criticism.
