This is my first EDH deck revolving around stompy creatures and combos.

Win Conditions

1) Animar's Army

This win condition is about getting the massive creature's out through Animar, Soul of Elements's ability. From here you stomp them into a pulp.

2) Infinite Combos

There are a few combos in here that allow for infinite mana, then from there infinite damage, artifact hate, or infinite counters can be achieved.

3) Animar Itself

Even if infinite counters is not achieved, Animar can still become massive, and with the help of small creature spells and cards like Lightning Greaves, Animar can swing for enough commander damage to win the game.

Card Choices

When creating this deck, I wanted it to be different from other Animar Decks.

Artisan of Kozilek and Genesis allow for Graveyard interaction in case an important card is stuck in there.

Kozilek, Butcher of Truth allows your graveyard to be shuffled back into your deck, preventing fatigue in most cases.

Cards like Kalonian Hydra, Forgotten Ancient, and Llanowar Reborn allow for some +1/+1 counters to bounce around, possibly landing on Animar, Soul of Elements

Cards like Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender, and Sakura-Tribe Elder allow for more mana and small creatures to hit the board. Because of these cards, I run four less lands than the traditional Animar EDH deck.

Equilibrium helps remove cards.

Domri Rade and Xenagos, the Reveler allow more creatures to flood the board, accomplishing win condition 1.
