Maybeboard

Edgar Markov Vampire Tribal. For now, I'll have a little bit of everything until I get more cards to narrow the deck's focus.

Vampires: Edgar's eminence ability triggers whenever I cast a vampire, so there are a lot of vampires with CMC 4 and below. I probably don't have enough vampires right now.

Tokens: Of course, Edgar Markov can make tokens like, always. There's still other token generators in the deck like Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Bloodline Keeper  , and Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle. Intangible Virtue, along with the other anthems in the deck, just makes tokens beefier, while Anointed Procession doubles tokens.

Anthems/Lords, +1/+1 counters and other buffs: What to do with those tokens? We can be aggressive with them! Stromkirk Captain gives +1/+1 and first strike, while cards like Rakish Heir and Necropolis Regent give +1/+1 counters on them whenever my vampires deal combat damage. Fervor gives them all haste, while Whip of Erebos gives them lifelink.

Sacrifice: What can I also do with those tokens? Sacrifice them for value! Cards like Ashnod's Altar and Indulgent Aristocrat are sacrifice outlets that give me cards and +1/+1 counters, respectively. Of course, there are also cards that take advantage of these creatures dying: Skullclamp gives me cards, Dictate of Erebos makes opponents sacrifice their own creatures, and Black Market gives me mana.

Life shenanigans: I can't not put Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond/Cliffhaven Vampire together. A kicked Blood Tribute with Bond can eliminate someone outright. Whip of Erebos gives my creatures lifelink, a very relevant ability. Blind Obedience, while slowing my opponents, also has extort.

Removal: Merciless Eviction is the only board wipe I have in the deck so far since I'm dealing with tokens here. Mardu colors have great removal spells, so no problem with that. If I have a lot of +1/+1 counters, I can funnel them into Retribution of the Ancients to get around indestructible creatures.

Protection: Since a large board of tokens is vulnerable to board wipes, I have Rootborn Defenses and Make a Stand to protect my army when the inevitable comes. I'm adding Boros Charm to the list eventually.

Draw: Phyrexian Arena is there to help with draw, as is Vanquisher's Banner while also being an anthem. Paying life to draw cards isn't as bad in this deck, so there's Read the Bones and Sign in Blood. Also considering Arguel's Blood Fast  .

Recursion: There's a few recursion effects in this deck. Living Death is a big one, but can also help my opponents. Palace Siege on Khans helps me get back some creatures, and while Bishop of Rebirth doesn't hit every creature, it can return creatures directly to the battlefield.

I'll probably go with the vampire army route, but for now, I'll go with this. Perhaps I'll go the life shenanigan route with Licia.
