Mission Briefing is an exceptional card. Snapcaster and a better scry2 on one card... just minus the body. But you should already know how good it is. It makes some interesting doomsday piles. With Intuition it almost becomes a Gifts Ungiven pile. Cast after Brainstorm you can remove the two unwanted cards. The number of uses this has is huge.
Muddle the Mixture is a pet favourite of mine, but it's just not cutting it anymore. Although its difficult to counter, as a tutor it's too restrictive, it's only "real" targets in this deck are Isochron Scepter or Dramatic Reversal. Not to mention that its 3cmc at sorcery speed. As a counter it has also been under scrutiny, its a strictly worse Counterspell, which itself is a strictly worse Mana Drain. My meta is fairly creature heavy, Gitrog, Azami and Kess-Reanimator being the major players. A restrictive 2cmc counter just isn't that great when trying to stop something hitting the board.
