The art for Akroma, Angel of Fury is beautiful and fierce. i was looking for a mono-red deck and didn't want to do goblins or artifacts. i thought a burn deck would be fun, but it needed to be edgy and different. Seeing Akroma, gorgeous and vicious, i found the flickering flame i wanted.

All in all play is pretty linear, but thats what i envisioned a burn deck to be. theres a bunch of draw and ramp to maintain a steady pace throughout game-play. Burn spells abound to control the board or throw at opponents. i turned the heat up with Furnace of Rath and other like effects, and geared up Akroma with swords and auras to unleash her fury.
