First of all, I really think you should see the original deck. It will help you understand what the main idea of this deck is, and why it is so fun to play.

That being said, this is my take on Anafenza, the Foremost EDH. I took the original deck, which has a great theme, and made some changes to it. The main goal here is get to Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, and make a ton of mana using Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, Magus of the Coffers, Liliana of the Dark Realms, Doubling Cube, Zendikar Resurgent and Mirari's Wake.

In order to get to Urborg, we have Expedition Map, Weathered Wayfarer, Reap and Sow, Crop Rotation, Sylvan Scrying and, in extreme cases, Diabolic Tutor and Demonic Tutor. I'm also debating whether I should add Tempt with Discovery, so I can get Urborg as well as Cabal Coffers, Petrified Field and Vault of the Archangel all at once, since everyone always chooses to get a land with Tempting offer.

So, what to do with all this mana? You can cast Genesis Wave and get most of your permanents onto the battlefield at once. Or you can take someone down with Maga, Traitor to Mortals, or even Damnable Pact. Or you can take EVERYONE down with Exsanguinate or Debt to the Deathless. Anyway, you get the ideia. Choose your favorites "pay X" cards and cast them with X being A LOT.

I made some changes to the original deck to fit it into my play group. I added a subtheme of +1/+1 counters, which is the obvious thing to do using Anafenza, and it seems to go along with the mana theme. For example, if I have Cathars' Crusade on the battlefield and I cast Genesis Wave, my creatures will get pretty huge very fast. If you have Urborg on the battlefield (which you will have) and Filth on your graveyard, you'll have huge unblockable creatures.

I also cut the number of lands down to 35, because I was having problems ending up with only lands in my hand. Anyway, with a main theme of producing mana as fast as this, you can afford to skip a turn or two without playing lands. But I think the safe strat would be to run at least 36 lands.

There's also a combo on the deck, which wasn't really intended in the first place, it just kinda happened. It consist on Hardened Scales + Spike Feeder + Unspeakable Symbol, which can get you infinite life, and thus infinite +1/+1 counters. If you have Devoted Druid on the battlefield, you also get infinite mana. If you see any more combos in here, please let me know! ;D

Well, I guess that's it. I am open to suggestions and recommendations (: I have to test this deck a couple more times to see if it is running ok, so maybe I'll make some changes in the near future. For instance, I'm almost sure I'll have to include Nylea, God of the Hunt, because trample is so good with the +1/+1 subtheme. But anyway, I hope you like it (: take it and twist it to your liking. Have fun!

Swapped Armorcraft Judge for Erebos, God of the Dead. Hopefully this will fix my draws and give me something to spent all my mana when I have no other options in hand.
