When I indulge in my lust for sacrifice, my opponents can only observe and despair...

I sacrifice one of my minions with the intent to wear down my opponents by Attrition, destroying an opposing creature. Due to my Grave Pact or my unmoving obedience of the Dictate of Erebos, my opponents will sacrifice a creature. It may even be due to their fear of the evil Butcher of Malakir. Either way, creatures will die, and through their sacrifice or destruction, the devout followers of Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, will be rewarded with +1/+1 counters and the glory of victory!

Generating tokens is a necessity in order to produce disposable sacrificial fodder. Two choice candidates are Eldrazi Spawn and Eldrazi Scion tokens. These have double value as they can be sacrificed at any time, fuelling the mana pool, or subjected to one of my sacrificial outlets - Attrition, Ashnod's Altar or Evolutionary Leap.

--> Equipping Eldrazi Spawn or Scions with Deathrender helps play creatures for 'free' while adding 1 colourless mana and if Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest is out, racking up a +1/+1. Evolutionary Leap can get those creatures into hand.

--> Grim Feast is great when tokens are sacrificed and Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos and/or Butcher of Malakir are out.

--> Fertilid can assist Ob Nixilis, Unshackled to remove 10 life for a forced library search and creature sacrifice.
