I've had playsets of each of the "_ of Empires" artifacts sitting around for a few years now, and was never quite sure what to do with them. After conversing with other players and reading some unrelated primers, an idea sprang to mind: "why not tokens?"

Intangible Virtue makes for a strong anthem for the token machines: Raise the Alarm, Lingering Souls and Throne of Empires .

The fun feature of the deck is of course the Crown of Empires + Scepter of Empires + Throne of Empires combo, which is very strong once set up.
