Another variety of Amulet bloom. I ditched the Hive Mind for some interaction. I play in a combo meta (depending on the location) and like to play combo myself. Aggro is usually in some form of and explains Hibernation in the side. Also, its good F-U to collect call elves. I loved Amulet back in 2013 and built a budgetty version myself then, but upgraded it over time just like the deck itself.

The one thing I hate about amulet is that there is no interaction with the opponent. Yes, I understand that Amulet doesn't care about interacting, but here are some questions for you. Have you dug 10+ cards in search of an Amulet of Vigor? Have you dropped a turn 2 Hive Mind and lost waiting for a pact or to transmute into one? Have you had your turn 2 Primeval Titan Path to Exiled, Mana Leaked, or Remand ed and you had mana to spare? Some simple interaction with your opponent could have sealed the game in your favor. This is where this deck wants to go. It will take some work, but that's what this site it about right (besides having some awesome people to trade with)?

3 round night with MM2 packs for pay out.

Round 1 vs. G/B/x 2-0

First game i mulligan down to 6 keeping a 2 Amulet of Vigor hand on the draw. Turn 1 play amulet and watched it get Abrupt Decay'd next turn. Turn 2 drop the other Amulet of Vigor and pass turn. It was another 2-3 turns before i could drop Primeval Titan and bash in for 8. He swings with 2 1/1 spirits and leaves back 2 goyfs (1 has summoning sickness) and Anafenza, the Foremost. Draw a Summoner's Pact, play pact, and search and play Dragonlord Dromoka. I give it +2/0 haste vigilance, swing with dromoka & prime time, fetched up 2 Vesuvas, copied Boros Garrison & Slayers' Stronghold, & gave dromoka +2/0 for lethal.

Game 2

Didn't see any discard from this guy even though he did side in 3 liliana of veil. 2 prime times beating face for the win.

Round 2 vs. Grixis Control 2-0

Game 1

Turn 3, 2 Amulet of Vigors out, cast Primeval Titan, double garrison/ stronghold (10/6 titan), swing, fetch vesuva/sunhome, and give him double strike.

Game 2

He sided in 2 Blood Moons and didn't get any. I had only 1 Chromatic Lantern in the main. Casted Ruric Thar, the Unbowed and passed turn. He killed ruric and ate 6. Next turn pact for titan into smash face for the win.

Round 3 vs. B/W tokens 2-1

Game 1

Quick amulet, quick titan, quick kill. Floated a for a Spell Pierce that saved Primeval Titan from Path to Exile.

Game 2

Discard package came in for him and i only brought in 2 (ruric and wurmcoil). He picked at my hand quick and by the time i stabilized he lethal on the board next turn.

Game 3

Brought in the rest of the creature package. He goes after my hand quick with 2 Thoughtseizes and drops an Auriok Champion turn 3. I was able to ramp quickly by top decking an Azusa, Lost but Seeking. Next turn he Dismembers azusa, swings with auriok champion, and passes turn. Draw a Summer Bloom and unload my hand. Next he attacks and passes turn. I get a bounce land, tap Tolaria West, and bounced it back to my hand. Transmute it, search for Summoner's Pact, play it, and search/play Ruric Thar, the Unbowed. This basically locked him out of the game. Next turn added more pressure with a Wurmcoil Engine. He chumps wurmcoil with 2 tokens and concedes next turn.

Got 4 packs of MM2 & a promo visions :)
