A deck that I built at the pre-release of Amonket on the 23rd of April 2017.

As per usual, I was given six booster packs from the most recent set (Amonkhet in this case) and the task of constructing a 40 card competitive deck using only those 90 random cards and basic lands.

Usual rulings apply including the duplicate rule, legendary rule and Planeswalker uniqueness rule.

During pre-release, this deck took me to a 3-1 finish at my local games store, but I would not recommend it for constructed play.

The deck is built around dealing 20 damage to the opponent as quickly as possible. This is mainly achieved through filling the board with creatures and swinging, but the triggered ability of Bontu's Monument combines really well with all of the one-drop and two-drop creatures being run. 19 of the deck's 40 cards are creatures, so triggering Bontu's Monument is easily done multiple times per turn in the mid-game and late-game.
