Zedruu the Greathearted, the peaceful inciter of war. He who helps others rage war among themselves ,gives them the weapons they need, and drops a few bombs in where it hurts the most, while sitting behind a wall of defense and profiting from making pacts with allies. And it's red, white, and blue. Democracy wins, again.

To win with this deck, you have to keep in mind the teachings from Art of War. Never face your enemies directly. Have them fight each other first, sit back and prepare yourself, then strike when the time is right. The part you play is more of a mental warfare then a physical one.

Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Windborn Muse lower the opponents' desire to attack you, while Fumiko the Lowblood, Crown of Doom, Duelist's Heritage, Orzhov Advokist, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Curse of Stalked Prey encourage them to fight each other. Master Warcraft , Boros Battleshaper literally shape the battle.

It is said, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Hunted Dragon, Hunted Lammasu , Hunted Phantasm, and Varchild's War-Riders bring more "friends" to your side. Even some removals in this deck bring you friends. Pongify, Rapid Hybridization, Swan Song, Curse of the Swine, and Mogg Infestation is used to disrupt your opponents' play without diminishing the heat of battle. As long as you are not the prime target, the more creature on the field, the better. Good old Zedruu the Greathearted also give out presents and make you more friends.

When the circumstance is right, drop bombs such as Pyromancer's Swath , Steel Golem , Grid Monitor , and Ward of Bones to lock down a certain opponent. They go well with Zedruu the Greathearted 's theme along with other "give-way" cards like Djinn of Infinite Deceits, Puca's Mischief , Bazaar Trader, Humble Defector,...etc. These are usually staples in a Zedruu deck so I will leave out the details.

If you play it right, you should be one of the two survivors in the late game. Then, use Insurrection or Reins of Power to end the game. Democracy always wins!
