This was something I came up the night before Game Day SOI. I really wanted to play with Altered Ego and Arlin. Also, considering the format, I wanted to make sure I wasn't overwhelmed with tokens, white weenies, etc. I played it today at Game Day and did better than I thought; 4-2. The goal is to get some early board presence (Advocate, Den Protector) and get ready to drop either Arlin or Kiora. Both the planeswalkers were excellent. -2 Kiora, fetch a creature and/or land, play it, +1 arlin to give it +2/+2 haste and vig and then go to town. The other good part is use Kiora to untap land. Arlin is also good for the aggro side - once she is flipped. The goal is to get altered ego out, with enough mana (I found 6 to be good) to copy your opponents big guys (with extra counters). The burns, counterspells, and minor wipes are good for early threats. Atakara's is good for dmg and extra land drops if needed (very situational). Let me know your thoughts and how to make it better!
