Sideboard

Enchantment (3)

Creature (4)

Origins

This started off as a regular burn deck, but since I love Izzet so much and have a somewhat competitive spirit, I've attempted to combine the competitive Boros Burn deck and an Izzet Burn deck.

Additions

Quicken: This is used for the cantrip, and that's it. It is basically a replacement for Chained to the Rocks as an instant to power Spellheart Chimera and to help me thin my deck or draw into answers. One of the weaker choices, but it's replacement is in the board in case it doesn't pull it's weight.

Spellheart Chimera: My replacement for Minotaur Skullcleaver or Viashino Firstblade . Sure, it doesn't come out swinging, but it can easily end the game turn 4 with a Boros Charm set to Double Strike along with another burn spell.

Turn / Burn: I think this was more of a meta choice than anything. There is a lot of R/G Monsters and Mono-Black. Both of these decks run creatures like Polukranos, the World-Eater and Desecration Demon who can't be touched by only one burn spell. Turn / Burn gets these guys, and can also transmute Master of Waves in the event that I play Mono-Blue.

Suggestions and Errata

The non-foil Izzet Guildgate signifies Temple of Epiphany.

I could use some help with the sideboard since I normally suck at making them.
