Hagra Diabolist is a card I find very interesting, in that if he isn't dealt with, he presents a decent wincon in an ally deck. He combos well with cards like Ghostway and cheap allies. Jwari Shapeshifter adds more copies of him for cheap. Drana's emissary and Kalastria healer chip away at the opponent's life total early game, making it easier for HD to win the game on arrival. Zulaport Cutthroat punishes creature removal. Kazandu Blademaster and Hada Freeblade present additional wincons and make removal decisions hard for your opponent. Sea Gate loremaster provides some much needed midgame draw, effectively acting as a Distant Melody, which also makes it to this deck. Gideon is just awesome and also activates ally abilities when he turns into one. March from the tomb can resurrect any dead allies and trigger their abilities to boot. Lastly, Unified front can at best trigger HD thrice, usually in a game ending manner. The trick here is to accumulate a critical mass of allies before playing HD for the win. HD himself needs protection, thus the Negates in sideboard for creature hate. The high cmc of HD makes Return to the ranks or Rally the ancestors a bit unviable; they do make the sideboard, though.
