Sideboard

Welcome! This is my rendition of Black/White Warriors, a very powerful budget deck, great for the FNM crowd. It is an aggro deck at heart, but after boards it can almost turn into a midrange/control style deck. Very fun, versatile, and easy to pilot. Any suggestions you have will be heard and appreciated!

Here are the cards:

4x Bloodsoaked Champion: Far and away the best 1 drop in the deck. It will never get blocked in the early game, and will come back in the late game if it dies. Great card.

4x Mardu Woe-Reaper: The other 1 drop in the deck. Not the Bloodsoaked Champion, but the incidental life gain helps. Just be careful not to exile a champ on accident.

4x Blood-Chin Rager: The first 2 drop, and the only ting that gives evasion to your warriors. If you have him and a chief in hand, play him first, it will almost always get more damage through.

4x Chief of the Edge: Fist off, I would like to mention that this guy is a 3/2 for 2 , which is pretty darn good already. second, this guy will win games VERY quickly, especially in multiples. It is fantastic having a 2 drop that almost has to be killed, or it will win. Also works very well with the eager.

4x Mardu Strike Leader : I am still testing this card a bit. Its place was originally taken by Blood-Chin Fanatic, which did well, but was really the weakest card in the deck. Whe I initially tested the strike leader, I used it as a 4 drop, but I think this can work as solid "bolt bait" that will win if not answered. Still not too sure on this guy, he seems pretty cool though.

4x Arashin Foremost: If this card didn't exist, neither would this deck. This card, in an ideal curve, can get you a turn four kill if unanswered. That is what makes this card insane. Very, very powerful card.

4x Brutal Hordechief : This card might seem odd as a 4 of, but this version of the deck works by curving out. This card is my favorite top deck in the late game, works great in multiples, and that slow life swing will fly under the radar and win you the game in many cases.

3x Sorin, Solemn Visitor: One of my favorite cards in the deck. I initially did not have these in the deck to keep it more budget, but adding him took this deck to the next level. If you are looking to go hyper budget, i would skip on this card for a bit, but having him in here is fantastic.

4x Stasis Snare : The nemesis of this deck is the stupid Hangarback Walker. This is a fantastic removal spell, and it guarantees that you will see as few thopters as possible.

3x Ultimate Price: the next best removal spell in the deck. NEVER be afraid to board these out for Radiant Purge s.

4x Caves of Koilos: Enters untapped, gives both colors. This deck regains incremental damage like this pretty easily, always happy to see this if I need lands.

4x Shambling Vent: This card is dumb. It breaks board stalls, and swings 4 a turn if you use it. fantastic card.

7x Plains 7x Swamp: do these need a description?

This however, is not the ideal land base for the deck. If you are made of money, swap 5 Plains and 5 Swamp for:

4x Polluted Delta 4x Flooded Strand 1x Sunken Hollow 1x Prairie Stream

This would give an astounding 20 sources of each color, but I don't have all of those fetches, so thats not happening anytime soon.

3x Battle Brawler : This card hoses mono red, be it piledrivers, abbots, or swiftspears. You play this, and they have to waste a burn spell on it.

3x Radiant Purge : Sometimes Ultimate Price just doesn't do the job, so here you go.

4x Secure the Wastes: this card is your only hope in recovering from Languish. Board this in against anyone playing mass removal, and any type of control.

3x Valorous Stance: Not sure how good this is in the current meta, but it was good before BFZ. may get swapped for something.

2x Hidden Dragonslayer : This card is fantastic. I board them in in a lot of matches, and they put in work. might try them in the main.

Thank you, and happy brewing!

I just played this in FNM as is, and did pretty well.

Game 1: Weird combo deck between Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper and Jeskai Ascendancy. Slow deck, easy 2-0.

Game 2: Esper dragons sans Jace, no languins in board. Able to win fairly easy. 2-0.

Game 3: 5 color midrange deck. Dragonlord Dromoka is not fun, neither is Radiant Flames. 0-2

Game 4: 4c contellations deck. Slow, but he had good sideboard tech and made it to game 3. 2-1.

Overall, I was 6-3, and 6th place, so fairly happy. Hidden Dragonslayer and Shambling Vent are fantastic. Also cleared up the comments.
