Since you're already running Bojuka Bog, Crop Rotation is an excellent land tutor since it's instant speed. Instant speed Bojuka Bog in response to your opponent's graveyard shenanigans can be extremely powerful.

I like to run Blood Pet as a great one-drop ramp and sac to Meren, and his buddy, Blood Vassal. They are great, because they don't need an outlet to sacrifice to, and ramp nicely. I also like Yavimaya Elder, as he works almost like a second Solemn Simulacrum.

You can have some insane fun by adding Hermit Druid and Life from the Loam to this deck; self-mill works to your advantage, after all :) I would also recommend Harvester of Souls; sure, expensive to cast, but the extra draw is phenomenal. As my playgroup has banned all infect cards, I also use Winding Constrictor in my Meren deck. Helps to get those experience counters up quick.

bushido_man96 Thank you for the suggestions. I thought about the Yavimaya Elder, but I decided to remove him in lieu of ETB effects. However, I am not against some test playing with him to determine how well he fits with the deck. In regard with Blood Pet and Blood Vassal, I will definitely add them to my acquire board and test play with them as well. I like the idea of adding value with triggers and ramp, especially since Meren gets hated out the game fairly quickly.

NV_1980 Thank you as well for the suggestion. I do already have Hermit Druid in the deck. However, I will definitely add Life from the Loam and maybe Harvester of Souls to the deck. I like the added synergy of milling myself and getting Life from any card draw trigger.

Unfortunately, the playgroup at the LGS doesn't have a ban on infect cards, so Winding Constrictor may very well be detrimental to me in the long run. Otherwise, great suggestion.

Expensive Suggentions: Vampiric Tutor is an obvious choice, and possibly Tooth and Nail as well (entwined, it puts Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion both into play). Phyrexian Altar is also better than some of the sac outlets you're curretly running. For lands Ancient Tomb and Gaea's Cradle are good. The cradle is very expensive, but becomes strong if you decide to run Crop Rotation. You could also run Verdant Catacombs and Bayou, but again, money is probably in issue for these cards (it would be for me :)

Budget Cards: Beast Within, Krosan Grip, and Putrefy are all strong budget removal cards, worth considering. Was a little surprised you don't run mana dorks like Birds of Paradise, Elves of Deep Shadow, Llanowar Elves, (there are more). These guys are great early-game ramp. Golgari Signet should probably be included too. City of Brass and Mana Confluence are good lands. Fleshbag Marauder and Merciless Executioner can be very annoying and powerful with Meren. Butcher of Malakir is a Grave Pact with legs, so you can bring it back with Meren. Caustic Caterpillar may be worth running too. Nim Deathmantle is almost definitely worth running since it will give you infinite colorless mana and infinite zombies when paired with Grave Titan and Ashnod's Altar, cards you are already running (and its not bad on its own). Finally, if you do end up running Phyrexian Altar ($$, mentioned in first comment), consider running Gravecrawler-- it'll go infinite with Phyrexian Altar, Zulaport Cutthroat, and a zombie.

i like the deck! i built a meren was like my fourth deck it's one of my funnest decks check mine out you may get an idea or 2 Gravedigger meren always gets a plus 1 from me.

I reeeeally like Spore Frog (one of the best cards in the deck!) and having the option to win any time without anything on the board if you run a few fetchies (7 for 1 life and the 2 evolving wilds = 9 at least) and some other lands that sac themselves and have Worm Harvest in your yard due to Dredge (Golgari Grave-Troll, Stinkweed Imp, Life from the Loam[!!!]) You can always loam back some lands and discard them for a huge amount of 1/1 Worms

Life from the Loam also is one of the best inclusions here. Don't be afraid of its price tag, it's worth each cent!!

The first thing I'm going to say is Meren is AWESOME and it's true that all the cool kids have Meren decks. However there are a couple things I need to provide constructive criticism on.

1. WHY AREN'T YOU RUNNING FLESHBAG MARAUDER??? This card is absolutely bonkers in Meren lists. It puts the table in a sort of lock as Meren can recur it, breaking parity. This is a must include in Meren.

2.Run every Mana Dork you can. Getting a t3 Meren is awesome for your game plan, and in late game, just sac them for value. I would take out Solemn simulacrum for these.

3.Run Protean Hulk. It combos with Mike and Trike and is just an insane value engine without winning on the spot.

1. If you are a total jerk like me, run Contamination and Smokestack. These are great with Meren, and you can sac your dorks and dongers to them. This is where stuff like Mana dorks shine, as they make green mana most of the time.

Other than that, your list is great! Keep reanimating!

@formulakid2112, I love your ideas there. I am going to consider them for my Meren deck. I especially love the Contamination and Smokestack.

Also, Fleshbag Marauder is great, but I think Shriekmaw really lends itself to the deck well, too.
